About Pamela CohnMy Client Philosophy- It's about "YOU"There are many qualities and skills that go into being an excellent real estate professional: integrity, in-depth community and market knowledge, marketing savvy, effective negotiation skills and a high-quality professional network, all of which are hallmarks of how I work. Most of all that means really listening to my clients' needs and acting on them. The very best service is essentially about putting my clients first. This means being accessible, being a good listener, a good communicator, a good negotiator and responding quickly to my clients' needs.
I joined Prudential Tropical Realty several years ago. I have been recognized on numerous occasions for outstanding sales accomplishments and have earned the Graduate Realtor Institute (GRI), e-Certification, the Resort & Recreation Specialist (RRS) designations, New Homes Sales certification(NHS), and Short Sale Foreclosure designation (SFR). Upon getting my Broker’s license in 2005, I received the prestigious CREST award. I have been a Managing Broker, an Assistant Broker and a Career Development Manager for Prudential Tropical Realty, all of which honed my skills as a negotiator. Most of all I enjoy being a Broker Associate and actively selling real estate with my husband and partner Rick.
I graduated Cum Laude from Southern Connecticut State University earning a Bachelor of Science in Social Work. I did my internship at Yale New Haven Hospital and graduate work at University of New Haven in Business and Accounting. I was Vice-President and Owner of a successful retail business with my husband, Rick, for more than 22 years. As an executive member of the Hamden Plaza Merchants’ Association from 1989-1999, we revitalized the association by developing and implementing their annual marketing strategies. Working with the Mayor’s office, I brought national developers together, including National Shopping Centers and Kimco, to revitalize Hamden’s “Magic Mile” of Shopping Centers as part of a major redevelopment project. .
