About Pamela Cohn

My Client Philosophy- It's about "YOU"

There are many qualities and skills that go into being an excellent real estate professional: integrity, in-depth community and market knowledge, marketing savvy, effective negotiation skills and a high-quality professional network, all of which are hallmarks of how I work.  Most of all that means really listening to my clients' needs and acting on them.  The very best service is essentially about putting my clients first. This means being accessible, being a good listener, a good communicator, a good negotiator and responding quickly to my clients' needs.

I joined Prudential Tropical Realty several years ago. I have been recognized on numerous occasions for outstanding sales accomplishments and have earned the Graduate Realtor Institute (GRI), e-Certification, the Resort & Recreation Specialist (RRS) designations, New Homes Sales certification(NHS), and Short Sale Foreclosure designation (SFR). Upon getting my Broker’s license in 2005, I received the prestigious CREST award. I have been a Managing Broker, an Assistant Broker and a Career Development Manager for Prudential Tropical Realty, all of which honed my skills as a negotiator.  Most of all I enjoy being a Broker Associate and actively selling real estate with my husband and partner Rick.

I graduated Cum Laude from Southern Connecticut State University earning a Bachelor of Science in Social Work. I did my internship at Yale New Haven Hospital and graduate work at University of New Haven in Business and Accounting. I was Vice-President and Owner of a successful retail business with my husband, Rick, for more than 22 years. As an executive member of the Hamden Plaza Merchants’ Association from 1989-1999,  we revitalized the association by developing and implementing their annual marketing strategies. Working with the Mayor’s office, I brought national developers together, including National Shopping Centers and Kimco, to revitalize Hamden’s “Magic Mile” of Shopping Centers as part of a major redevelopment project.  .

I have always tried to be active in the community. I was a Youth Commissioner and a youth advisor for high school teens 1996-2001. I was the Mayor’s liaison on the “Task Force for Quality Education” in Hamden CT.

As a resident of Palm Harbor, I have stayed actively involved in the community as illustrated by my membership in the Women’s Council of Realtors (WCR), Toastmasters,  Jewish Women International (JWI) and the Palm Harbor Chamber of Commerce.  Buying & selling in Pinellas county since the 1980’s has given me my background, knowledge and appreciation of the area.

This extensive background, combined with strong leadership skills, makes me uniquely qualified to assist homeowners and buyers with all their real estate needs. When you decide that you'd like to buy or sell a home in North Pinellas or South Pinellas county, whether in the East Lake corridor or along the Gulf coast or in a golf course community, re-sale or new construction, please contact me and know that you will be in good hands.
